Hey LOSER nation, bunch of us got together in Barrie last Saturday over some wings and suds and layed down some plans for Syracuse. Reservations have been made at the Crown Plaza. We are all starting to get the rats and rods ready to go. Five or six of us will be travelling in a herd and would like to invite any and all LOSERS to run with us. The more the merrier. We plan on a liesurley run down, not a balls to the wall suicide run. Our route will take us across at Buffalo.
I missed last year hope to make it this year. Although we are coming from another direction.I know Rotten Kid (1959) Edsel, Bill (1958) Ford,and Kenny (1932) Ford are going and booked.
Unfortunately I'll be missing this year... scheduling conflict with wife working and too much going on right now... The rest of the crew I was suppose to be going with will be there, keep an eye out for a white/green patina '51 Merc pickup, my buddy just finished building it and it's one awesome truck! Wish I was going, but such is life... let me know how the trip goes and share some pics if you can!
I'm ready to go. I'll be in the Ol' Skool Rodz section most of the weekend, look for the Edsel. Tinworks and Grump will be there too. Chad we can hook up for a pint around the motel I got a feelin' were in the same spot man.
Our cable modem fried when the storm hit Ottawa on Friday, give us a few days and we'll get some pics up. Was super kool meeting Scruff and JYD these kats are awesome. As always hooking up with LOSER and Broke4Speed is always a pleasure.
Aww man you met up with Scruff and JYD!! Those are the guys I've been cruising with the last couple of years and was invited to go with them to the show... I should have been in their convoy but life events got in the way this year.... I'll be there next year if its the last thing I do lol... but yeah they are a great group to hang with for sure!! That's so cool you guys got to meet them.... I'm looking forward to some pics!

Hey LOSERS, been away for awhile, good to be back. Want to send a big shout out to the Ottawa area LOSERS that we met in Syracuse. It was a pleasure to meet Tara, Gary,Kenny and Bill, hope I remembered everyone. Had a great time talking to everybody and looking at their great rides, love those big boulevard cruisers. As the forum shows we got a great group shot at the rat barn. Would like to hang out and party with everybody at a more relaxed venue, pretty hecktic place. Tried to buy Gary's hi-rise bike but he wouldn'd budge,ha,ha. To any LOSERS that haven't been to Syracuse, man, you need to go, the coolest ratts, rods, customs,stockers and some of the most full on Bad-Ass street freaks I've ever laid my eyes on. The next time we go we''ll stay at a more rod friendly hotel closer to the action, we missed all of the night activities and carryings on. We stayed at the Crowne Plaza just a few minutes from the Fairgrounds which had terrible parking and not even a corner store handy. The parking garage ramp was so steep that any low rider smashed the crap out of the underside of the car getting over the top, my own rod got hung up so bad that we had to put blocks of wood under the tires to get back off of the ramp top, sucked huge!!!!!!!!!! Other than one young fella named Eric , who went above and beyond to help the low rider guys with the parking, the staff could have cared a less about the rodders problems, go park on the street was their solution. Live and learn, that was the first time to the Nationals so next time we'll know better. Enough of that. Still, had a blast meeting new people, telling some tales and ''cruisin'' with the ratts. Love the look on peoples faces when a group of old school rods are ''beatin'' down the highway. Would like to post some pics but not very computer smart, don't know how. I don't even know how to post an avatar, what a LOSER eh, no really,,,,,,, what a LOSER !

Great to have ya here Scruff!! That's so cool you LOSERS got to meet at the show... a good time for sure! Too bad about some of the difficulties with the hotel location and parking lot (that really sucks getting hung up on the ramp!) but like you said, next time you'll know better and can plan accordingly... How was the drive, any issues or breakdowns? What route did you take?
