and I have a set of proper tail lights for that car. I need to stop reading old auto traders.Back in the 80s Chevettes Omnis and Vegas were twice the price of most muscle and vintage cars.
I'd buy that little Falcon just for the chain link steering wheel :) and then of course I'd have to bust the spoiler off in front of the seller and crack it over my knee.
I agree, sure don't see where the 10 grand was invested there and yes a pile of work left to do.
On a side note, this isn't a Kijiji or C-list (I don't think) but thought it was interesting. Came across it today at a local used car lot. Owner wasn't there so I don't know the price.
It's not a thread currently. I scrapped the truck (too far gone) and picked up an 87 Golf GTI 16v from a local. It came with a **** ton of spare parts, so it's completely paid for itself already :). This one needs work too, but far less than the truck, lol.
I didn't post it, cause I wasn't sure how it would be received. I mean, it's only 27 years old...it's practically modern! ;).
Gotta be honest, I "borrowed" Tyler's purplish Jetta for a couple months a few years back, and it was low, and loud, and mostly a pail of sht....but man I loved abusing it.... hell I almost bought that old, gutted, roll caged turbo bunny not that log ago (after Jay blew it up) until I realized the ridiculousness of a man of my girth climbing in and out of it.
Its old, its not "mainstream" and its not high buck....I would say that's exactly LOSER friendly
