picked up this on Wed, 71 Comet, 306, C4, 3000 stall, 9" with 411's.....should be lots of fun.!

now i need a galaxie to round out my space cars lol

Very cool!! Nice Comet...That should be a blast... Meteor/Comet/Galaxie you'll have the whole "outer space" collection lol

Lol, thanks guys....well I'm sure I will enjoy it as soon as I can get it to run. Seems it likely needs a new module in the Mallory. Sometimes starts, sometimes doesn't. No spark....new coil...wiring checks good.....so its either the MSD or the module in the dist.
Will get it sorted out this week and get to have some fun on the weekend.
I may or may not hang onto it, the Meteor is my keeper and is by far my fav car I have ever owned.
The price was just to good to pass up on the Comet for what the car has and as clean as it is.

waiting on a new module for the dist tommorow and then we will see what i have.

i have always loved these cars too, my mom had one when i was a kid and her boyfriend at the time built a wood boat style dash for it. was neat

Yeah my appreciation for this model is the same as yours. Dad had a gold Comet and a hemi organge Maverick. Maybe someday I'll find some old pics.

The dist module is in, car runs good!
Now just going to do some clean up stuff and sell in the spring to fund some things I want to do to the meteor....
