Very cool!! I'd love to go too! Be nice to finally meet some others from here... we'll have to see as the date gets closer. I will mark the calendar though ;)
Guess you'll have me beat for the long distance LOSERS award Mike... lol
I was going to tell the rest of the guys we would be honored if the out of town guys could show up. This should turn out to be one of Ottawas koolist events.
you mean a show with only the members loser car or non members 2 .......or could we go with any of our cars regardless the year or what kind it is ...........would that be only a quick afternoon show
I lost mine last year when I put hand cuffs on it and put it into a friends WHITE 1966 Chevy van at a car show. He sold it to the first person who looked at it for a buck. The loss was worth the razzin he got from others at the show.
The show is Pete’s brainchild so I hope I’m not speaking out of turn.
MY 2 cents: Whatever we put on I can damn near guarantee it won’t be complicated. Personally I don't even like the term "car show" I'd personally prefer if it was just a gathering of like minded individuals who agree that grease staind hands is in fact a way of life and not a lack of proper hygiene.
No classes, no awards, no parking patrol, no bull**** would suit me just fine.
Gonna talk to the Barrie area LOSERS, sounds like fun. My house will be up for sale in the new year so hopefully we can find the time this summer to fit this in.

There's a VW show every august in Embrun that's run exactly like that. It's basically a big hangout day.
I hope you have a great week end ..............my old loser ride the 56 I don t think would take a 14 hours ride back and forth and no air conditioning ......that s what you get for living north lollllllllllllllll
trying to figure a way to get a couple bands but $$$ is not an option unless we can get sponsors. Im not great at begging for $. Talked to a few people but the concept of a rockabilly show is new territory that the regular car hobby don't understand.
Yeah, if it's more than a bunch of senior citizens hanging out with their crybaby dolls and a constant loop of "Rock Around the Clock", this area doesn't get it :(.

email me tommorow Pete, home or work, i think youhave both. i may have a band that owes me a favour, the lead is a customer that drives a Mitsu and i do lots of favours forhim. Its a good band with a rockabilly/punk sound, think Reverand Horton Heat kinda thing......maybe i can swing a gig for beer money.......
That sounds promising... let me know if I can help in any way. Would this be an 'open' show for non LOSERS as well? OR just for LOSERS? Where is the location... a park? property? parking lot? Just curious.....
I have decided that a car show is not in the cards at this time. I dont see enough interest for this kind of organised show. So I have called an official stop to this idea.
