Hey guys, so starting tommorow my Beater Meteor has to live outside for a month or so due to another project in the garage.
Im trying to find a cheap car cover of some form. Mostly cause im lazy and try to wash it as little as possible. Of course thewheels are the only shiny part to keep clean but thats besides the point. Any suggestions on a cheap cover that will actually cover the Titanic?
Its the dry cracked 40 year old vinyl roof sitting there under a **** ton of rain that concerns me. I drive it rain or shine, it rarely does it ever sit there letting it soak in, maybe I'm worried about nothing?
Hey, congrats. You get the gas miser award....hahaha. I would get a LOSER sticker for that and strap a pile of gas cans on the roof. That would turn heads.
Lets get some side shots...it already looks super cool.
Lol, let's be very clear here, I did not "buy" a Vette, what I bought is a 650hp blown 357, a built TH400 with custom 3000stall, a big alum rad, elec fans, a Hurst shifter, Autometer guages, MSD everything and a set of weld draglights
The Vette is the place this all resides at the moment, its all coming out to go in my Monte when it comes out of the body shop.
The motor has dyno time only on it.
The Vette is getting sold for parts or a roller.
I did the Vette thing a couple years ago, a 77. Watching my giant posterior climb in and out was a sight to behold. Don't get me wrong, I actually enjoyed the car for the beer money i had in it. But mostly I felt like a dbag driving it.
As much as I would enjoy violating it I need to unload it to buy a fuel system and headers for the Monte.
Its a 74, elec is a mess, paint is fkd. Frame may have a minor soft spot. Interior is decent to good, birdcage and rad support etc etc is rust free, trim is all there. Has aftermarket front and rear bumper covers, hard type instead of wavy plastic, front end and suspension was all replaced as well as rear diff with 4.11's and big half shafts, Seats are newly recovered. Comes with brand new in a box hooker supercomp 1 3/4 headers. Could be restored, or an excellent parts car.
Hopefully I can get around $1300-1500 for it....?
