A guy I chatted with via email for a bit sent me these pics of his rail. It's friggin COOL, and definitely against the grain. It's a modern rail chassis, but he's running a stroked/bored Chrysler inline-6 flathead with triple one-barrell carbs. It runs on alcohol, and apparently hits 9s in the 1/4. That's pretty good for what it is, considering those engines are 1000lb+. He even casts his own intake manifolds :).
I have a few more pics at home, I'll try to upload them tonight if I can find them. It's called "Velociraptor" IIRC.

From what I can remember from our conversation, he said he's been rebuilding those engines for years now, and usually does a couple a year for other folks. If I had kept my 54 Plymouth, I'd have sent my flattie down there for sure. He's near Toronto IIRC.
I tried to find video but couldn't. That thing has to sound insane at full roar.
