Awesome man!! One of my all time faves is a 56 Merc. I got 56 Monarch sittin' in the yard that I need to get at. Tinworks got me fenders and hood while he was sunning in Florida.
won t be doing any long trips with this one ........but next year i may get my 77 Ltd II .back out on the road than i may be able to drive down south and meet someone
well i finally officially made 2 miles to day............ now i m down to just doing little things like new plugs cap rotor .tune up like ........may have to go for a carb clean up or a make switch to a different carb .was actually real fun to drive steering is huge compare to newer cars.. was a real long 5 days lolllllllll ........but i still manage to keep the complete finish or unfinish ? style ? lollllllll total price lowwwwwwwww
not even sure what to call it rat rod ? or cheap project style or unfinished style or i ll call it my hot rod
had to go with a few different things the gas tank went off now have a fuel cell tank with an electric fuel pump ...trick the car to duel tail pipes and the exhaust exit on the side just before the back wheels
later planning to try to spray clear coat to see if i can save the look..........got a few friend that says flat black .........one thing sure it s raining and i can still go for a ride without worrying about the $6000.00 paint job
ya it could use paint lol but i prefer driving it straight the way it is .the paint that is on the car was done around 1996 ,second summer on the road since 1999 not bad for an old car better than the old owner
i guess that windshield washer isn t like original lollllllllllllll it a Dodge type like the Kcars of the 80 s but it kind of fit well so i put it there like until i fix the real one ..... i have the jar the original but there s a little piece where the hose connect that is broke . i ll try to get pic s of it may be someone may know if i get get that part .....i saw the the complete thing on ebay but they want a pretty good buck for them ......ya the camper in the picture is a 1964 14 feet and still in pretty usable condition

Man, I'd drive that in a heart beat. Cool ride man. Funky looking old carb. The well loved steering wheel does it for me. Looking for a large well worn Ford/Merc wheel for my 32.
