Barry flea market is out...so Stirling or Lindsay

Alright LOSERS.  I'm trying to figure out which flea market to vend at this year.  Spring Barrie appears to be going down hill...wanna try something new.  However, both of these shows are on May 3 and 4.  Any recommendations or suggestions????

Yes Barrie is not what it once was that's for sure, and now charging $5 to park not many people are happy...

As I understand the Stirling/Lindsay situation (for those who know correct me if I'm wrong) Lindsay is the new location for what was the Stirling market... it was outgrowing their location and the organization decided to move it to Lindsay... However, some people stepped up and wanted to keep the Stirling show where it was, so that market is still running also... I've heard the Stirling market is great (haven't been to it myself) but I will tell you a friend and I went to the 'first' Lindsay flea market last year and thought it was very good! Not only was it up the road from me, but it was basically all automotive parts (not socks and junk etc.) We both found some good deals, and everyone we talked to said they'd be going back!! I will be going to Lindsay this year for sure, and I think it will be bigger... My suggestion would be to try Lindsay... BUT Stirling is good too... let's see what the others have to say?

Barrie is no longer an automotive market, hasn't been for years. Hainey could care less about getting good automotive vendors. Far to many vendors peddling junk sled/atv parts , shampoo and off shore SH-T. The few vendors that do have some good parts are so over priced it's hard to keep a straight face. I've being going there for many years and am amazed at seeing the same stuff that didn't sell in previous years carrying an even higher price tag than before. Guessing some guys like to load and unload the same stuff , time after time and drag it up and down the road for fun. If you bring it home you didn't make any money from it. Also $5 to park, ya, right!!!!!!!!! Lindsay is looking good

I think at this point it's just the Antique Club that's moved out of Stirling and into Lindsay. I'll be going back to Stirling this year the town did an awesome job on there own last year.

Scruff's right to much crap in Barrie. My legs are gettin' tired, it's just not worth it anymore.

Now that the KID took me to the yard in N.Y. I see no real reason to go to any flea markets this year. All the parts I can use are in the yard and no middle man telling me how much he can sell them for on EBAY. I go to the flea markets just for the comradery. So Probably Sterling as its only 2.5 hours and Lindsays 3 hrs. I should check out Lindsay we will see.

Ya, just trying to find a place to sell my wares. Sold 95% of my car stuff (no socks or shirts) at Barrie. I guess I was lucky. First time there. All my stuff was car stuff and guys were climbing over people to buy it. Good stuff too, for good prices. Only brought one item back. I was very happy.

I believe that Lindsay and Sterling are on the same dates, so it makes it hard to decide. Want the biggest bang for the buck.....so might choose Lindsay. Its a big trip for me, no matter what, cause I am in the great white north.

Or, I say screw it and just try and sell my stuff at the Ottawa LOSERS shoot em up car show and swap meet....or what ever it is going to be called. Do you think people will really attend?? LOL.
