So, my 55' Dodge Crusader started running really rough (chugging, underpowered). Checked the plugs...black as black can be. Switched those, but basically still running just as poorly. Took off the air filter assembly (tiny thing obviously added recently).

(Without any air filter)Car runs like a dream! Thinking of replacing the whole air filter assembly with something much bigger, thoughts? Ideas of where locally I can just walk in a buy one? If not than thoughts on a specific air filter assembly I should buy to install?

check some of the flat head forms not sure about issues of changing to a dry filter from the oil bath filter.

dont think there should be much of an issue. Finding something with a small air filter base might be a little tricky these days

I ended up ordering a 10" fancy chrome thing on amazon.ca for $30...LOTS of nice clean air going in now, seemed to do the trick...and sparkles up the old rusty straight 6, hahaha!
