Hey guys, I'm hoping someone may know about a classic salvage yard in or near Ashton. There was an ad on Kijiji for vintage Fords last month (now gone) and it appeared to be a salvage yard from the pictures. Sadly the ad expired before I was able to reach out.

So, I'm going on friday to check out a 68 Cortina, but there's a possibility that paperwork will be non-existent. Has ANYONE ever gotten an ownership via other legal means, such as a notarized affidavit, etc? I am not sure 'purchasing a historic document' at Barrie will work due to the relative new-...

I am terrible at staying patient enough to be precise when I work, and the idea of measuring something (end play, pre-load, etc) fills me with dread. I've decided to build a frame for an A-based rod....

Uh...it's kinda different now. They seem to be enforcing the 75% rule, because I saw very few booths without car parts. Only one or two sock vendors, and a LOT more car stuff. It's also a completely different layout, which makes for a bit of walking, but it seems ok. The food is all in one place now, but...

Was down to Stirling on Sunday and picked up some junk. Best pieces were a couple matching 1980 licence plates for my truck. Going to get my truck into the Reguad Rumble this year! What did you guys get?

I was motoring down Gladstone Street yesterday an saw the store for Young's Speed Shop has their sign removed and the store is vacant. I'm sure they had been at that location for 50 years. The phone number is still alive so maybe they are moving to another location?

Last weekend I took a day and headed down to Candy's Hot Rod Shop to get some louvers punched. Well they look great and Neil is a fabulous guy. Great shop with great rods being built. Well worth the trip.
